Fire Dancer seasoning adds just the right amount of heat to make this Southern classic extraordinary!
  • Fire Dancer Seasoning & Rub, 2 Tbsp.
  • Grapeseed Oil, 3 cups
  • Green Tomatoes, 4, sliced into ¼ inch thickness
  • All Purpose Flour, 1 cup
  • Eggs, 4
  • Buttermilk, 2 Tbsp.
  • Panko, 2 cups
  • Sea Salt and Black Pepper to taste

  1. Before cooking food, preheat grapeseed oil to high in a stockpot or high sided skillet.
  2. In a small bowl, combine Fire Dancer Seasoning and flour. In another shallow bowl, beat eggs and buttermilk together. Place panko in third bowl.
  3. Dredge tomatoes through flour, then egg/milk mixture and then through breadcrumbs. Place a few tomatoes into hot oil ,but do not overcrowd.
  4. Fry 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until is crispy and golden brown. Drain excess oil on paper towels. Season with sea salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot with Bone Suckin’ Vidalia Relish. Serves 6.
