Fire Dancer Candied Pecans Recipe

  • Fire Dancer Seasoning & Rub, ½ cup
  • Brown Sugar, ½ cup
  • Butter, 1 stick
  • Pecan Halves, 1 lb.

  1. Preheat oven to 250˚.
  2. Before cooking food, melt stick of butter in medium sauce pan on low heat. Combine brown sugar and Fire Dancer seasoning in a resealable bag and shake well.
  3. Coat pecans in butter thoroughly. Remove pecans with a slotted spoon and place Fire Dancer/brown sugar mixture and shake, coating pecans well.
  4. Place coated pecans on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes. Watch the nuts closely, oven temperatures vary. Pecans should be dark brown, not burned. Yields 2 cups.
